Abril Fatface is the display cut of TypeTogether's Abril family, designed by Veronika Burian and José Scaglione in 2011. It channels nineteenth-century British and French fat-face advertising type: enormous thick-thin contrast, ball terminals and a heavy vertical stress. It comes in a single weight and exists purely for big, theatrical headlines — never for body text.
