Crimson Text font pairings

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog

Crimson Text was designed by Sebastian Kosch in 2010 as a free old-style text face inspired by classics like Garamond and the book types of Jan Tschichold and Robert Slimbach. Its moderate contrast, small x-height and bookish proportions give long-form reading a distinctly literary, print-like feel. It is best kept at comfortable text sizes, where its academic character does its quiet work.
