Open Sans font pairings

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog

Open Sans was designed by Steve Matteson in 2011 as a humanist sans-serif commissioned by Google, drawing on his earlier Droid Sans. Open apertures, a generous x-height and upright stress make it one of the most legible screen faces ever shipped, which is why it became a default body font across the web. It is deliberately neutral, so it defers to more characterful headline partners.
